Riyadh was the main town and used for administrative purposes by the government. King ibn Saud managed it so well but after he moved out of his palace. His enemies attacked and reversed his govt. by demolishing its walls. Riyadh always stood as strong hub of political and admin center. The main assembly, the minister council and major councils are in this city. A lot of embassies are under control of Riyadh govt. There are many diplomatic quarters in major western cities. Not only have the administrative purposed, it was also center of judiciary. It is the largest financial districts.

It falls under world fast growing states in population. There are 15 municipal districts with each municipal having individual mayor. The governor chairs the royal commission.
